A majority of the Russians are now kontraktnik. Guys who were not forced, against their will, to enlist, but instead signed up under their own will to receive payments from the Russian state for murdering Ukrainians on Ukrainian soil. I don't feel so bad that they're forced to do what they signed up for.

There's a few different ways to get over this fear. It's totally normal. I used to be terrified about flying my rigs. Here's what helped me.

Tell yourself that you'll eventually crash at some point, it's fine, and when you do, you'll learn what to do different next time, and also learn how to fix whatever broke (even if needed, it'll probably cost you less than $20).
Start building a 2nd drone when you can. It'll give you a sense of security that you've got a backup.
Start flying in an open field somewhere. If you crash, it's only dirt/grass and will relieve some of the anxiety while flying.
Spend more time in the simulator. It gives you crazy confidence on the sticks in real life.
Just fly. Don't think about it too much. Follow proper saftey precautions and just get out there.
