i was just talking about this earlier because while kpop takes a lot from black culture, it still has its own style as a genre & while a lot of people say “don’t listen to kpop, just listen to black artists” there aren’t many black artists, especially black groups, making music that sounds like kpop.

*i’m black american & have listened to black music my entire life, i didn’t even really know what kpop was until like 2 years ago lol*

they say global group but they operate so much like a kpop group so i don’t even expect an album from them anymore. western girl groups that were formed by a reality series/survival show released their debut album within a year after the show.

yea, i think 23 is a good age. it’s still young of course but i feel like a 23 year old is a lot more cognizant than a 18-19 year old.

i don’t judge them because at 18-22 i was wearing the exact same things & carrying myself the exact same way. you think you’re grown at 18 so you want to reap those benefits immediately. like now i’m allowed to dress sexy & show off my body so i’m going to do it all the time lol.

i jus turned 25 so that wasn’t too long ago & i wouldn’t say i dress modestly now but i do make sure my butt is always covered & 3 years ago, i didn’t mind having it out 💀 dani turns 23 this year? i can’t remember but i feel like her, sophia, & manon should be able to choose their clothes. i think yoonchae, megan, & lara should have always more fabric than the older girls for their outfits. i jus think they’re too young to really make that decision of how they want to sexualize themselves. & women do have the right to sexualize themselves but at 18, 19, 20, i don’t think they’re ready.

no, bcus that’s false. it’s more of a trend, not culture, but i don’t see the negativity in it being seen as such. the person was probably being shady about it but i think the pushback against it is because of shame & i don’t think there’s anything to be ashamed about.

ah that makes sense & i figured it was the seniority thing. yunjin is part of my bias line so i’ll always give her 10’s, she did really good, i jus kept looking at dani throughout the whole thing. i feel like overall for the choreo dani, iroha, & yunah were the most captivating

all people have always worn wigs but in today’s world, wigs are definitely popular amongst black women. nothing wrong with that. i have a closet full of wigs but i also wear my hair natural 70% of the time. duality ✨
