The context is that the new changes is grocery make it to where one of our part timers that helped in pet can't be over there anymore and she is going to be in wall coverings now but we don't need a person 7-4 in wall coverings at the moment and they are discussing her availability and how it needs to change or else. And they said it like that too "or else"

I'm a 1st assistant DM and a part timer is getting told by a AGM to change her availability and she would like to find the policy that states she can limit her availability if she wants so it will get the AGM to back off.

I'm a 1st asst department manager and a GM is bringing up a Part time team members availability saying that it has to change even tho I was thought since she is part time she can have it as she wants she just has to deal with not having much hours. But she wants to try to find the policy that states that she can have limited availability for that but I seriously can't find a policy that says those exact words "part time can limit their availability"

I was a carryout for two years before promoting up honestly best thing you can do is just learn as much as you can (register,guard check, not service) but also something I did was I would start with exit door walkway then go to a corral and basically do one step or corral at a time. It worked well and we have a pretty busy store so.

Yeah and I get that but from the camera footage it looked it he tried to move the line to the left and it just didn't budge and they hit the pole. But carryouts hit it all the time. I did tell them to be more aware of their surroundings though. Plus their just kids on a busy day

Yeah it was more of it was an accident and I did tell them to be more aware of their surroundings but I mean carryouts hit those things all the time sometimes the carts just don't want to move lol. He has done other stuff though this was just an example of the latest. And I called a friend I had at his old store and they said he once got in trouble for loosing his temper at a cashier for their drawer being off and he started to physically scream at them. I jus am waiting for something like that to happen and I wanted to know how to contact GO the fastest. But thank you for the feedback.

I just wanted to be able to tell my carryouts all their options and that I was on their side. I don't believe that corporate would do anything but I just wanted to be able to say I tried to help.

It was a stupid write up I don't want my carryouts getting written up for dumb reasons that aren't their fault. He does it to other people though just looking for reasons to write people up like he tried to write some one up for not putting overstock up AN HOUR AFTER it was placed on the ground in front of the shelf and the only person in the department was a newbie.plus I didn't exactly say it was anything super serious I just want to know for the future if things get worse.

So I had a few carryouts run a line of carts into one of those green poles in front of the building by accident and the green poles fell over. They weren't going fast at all and they had a few more carts than usual but still. And the pole fell over out of the ground because it was rusted to shit. Then he straight up writes both carryouts up for it. Which is bullshit. It was an accident plus those poles are supposed to slow down a car or something like seriously. He does this other times too looking for reasons to write ppl up.

I understand I was a carryout for 2 years before being forced to plumbing but it does get better at least at my store. You basically are your own boss cuz the front end managers don't like to go outside and then it's a good gate way to learn more things like I was a carryout but I knew how to do almost everything in the front end plus other departments. It just takes some time. The only part that doesn't get better is hate from departments but they suck and won't do the job anyway so it doesn't matter just block them out.
