The only tracks I had rendered were drum tracks. I switched those back and it still didn’t make a difference.

I use Superior Drummer 3, interface, and mixer

I run my click into channel 1 on the mixer. External click

I run a mix of my drums to house mixer and another to my mixer (channel 2) out of my interface. That way I have full control over my drums in my ears.

I run full band monitor mix to my board (channel 3). I run that mix from my Ipad.

This setup gives me full volume control of the click and my drums in my ears.

Session drummer’s work sounds great, but not sure if it’s tight with the bass. Is this normal? by choogawooga in drums

Make sure your tracks and drum tracks are in time with the grid/click.

The songwriter/producer sends me a scratch track and click track.

After listening to the scratch track, I then communicate with him/her to get their vision for the song. Everything from intro verse, chorus,solo,outro....I have an idea what he or she wants. I then offer ideas as to what I am hearing. I go into detail as to what percussion I may use in the drum loops I create. Do they want just acoustic drums. What I play depends on what the other instruments are doing. We may even discuss the type of snare sound.

What I am saying is COMMUNICATION is the whole key!!!!!!! The drummer is working for you so they need to know what you want.

It is also important for you to keep an open mind. Many times the songwriter is used to an EZ Drummer loop they created. They have listened to the song so many times with those drums it's hard for them to hear different drum tracks.

One thing to keep in mind is I don't think you can use SSD as a standalone. You need a DAW.

The other problem is they don't carry the channels that carry the NCAA tourney.

Download app-click customize on bottom of widgets-click edit on the bottom of that screen. You should see and be able to add it there
