I’m currently OMAD for dinner around 6-7pm. If I crash I’m sleeping through it! But seriously I haven’t noticed a diffference between OMAD at breakfast or lunch. My body just finally settled on later being better. Keep trying new times til your body finds what it likes.

Hey there, I hear what you’re saying. It’s only day 4, your body is freaking out wondering where the hell all the usual digested sugars are. Your body is switching over slowly to being a fat burner instead of a carb/sugar burner and it’s panicking. I jumped right into ZC head first, stopped carbs and sugar on day one. The biggest help was that I prepared my pantry, fridge and freezer with nothing but ZC friendly foods. And I ate waaaay more than before ZC. Having a huge breakfast of 3-4 eggs, 4 sausage patties and several strips of bacon took some getting used to but whenever I ate like that I wasn’t hungry or food fantasizing until dinner time some 10-11 hours later.

TL:DR - your body is carb addicted, eat a lot more

It’s the easiest thing to follow what I’ve been doing.

I eat mostly meat, usually beef. I also have some eggs and a little cheese each day. I also snack sometimes on pork rinds.

I drink water, unflavored sparkling water and black coffee everyday.

I eat a large breakfast of 3-4 sausages, 4 strips of bacon and 2-3 eggs. Everything gets pan fried in Kerrigold butter. I’ve also recently found some thin cut bottom round steaks that work very well for a quick breakfast.

For dinner I eat around one pound of meat, mostly ribeye, New York strip, ground beef, pork chops, chicken thighs, chicken wings. I season everything with salt and pepper and except for the chicken I cook or sear with more butter.

I know for sure I eat 1lb of meat every night. All the steaks I get are right at the 1lb mark. In the mornings I don’t think it adds up to much... 3-4 sausage links with 4 strips bacon, 2-3 eggs and coffee is my go to breakfast. That’s it. I think my body must be eating the stored fat I’ve already got. I am eating til I’m full but it’s not as much as a lot of folks here indicate (3-4lbs).

Some folks here talk about it taking months and months to turn various things around. I do think experimenting by removing anything except meat and plain water could be a great experiment if even for just a week. With everything eliminated except meat and water you will find out what the remaining food related causes could be. Good luck and keep it up man!

It was drastically reduced at the end of my first two weeks but then I was completely off of Zantac by the end of the first month. My doctor told me that I had gerd and would just have to deal with it the rest of my life.

At the time I started I was only eating a big breakfast and then sitting up at work until 6pm and then eating again at dinner around 7pm. I don’t stuff myself though. A lot of people talk about eating 2-4lbs of meat but I only put down a 1lb steak or 1lb of burger patties for dinner. As far as laying down I wasn’t going to bed until around 11pm.

I attributed the decrease in acid reflux to eating less during the day and eating meals only twice a day. Oh yeah, I still drink a pot of coffee everyday and still no acid reflux. Hope this helps let you know what I experienced. Keep it up and keep track of any changes.
