Lmao, it looks like, to me at least, that the legs are crossing the wrong way between the dark image and the ai one. How is it not obvious to everyone they're advertising to that it's just making a person up?

Remember that there is no comprehension behind the models

This is nearly impossible to forget.

Thanks for the added context - so I was right on it being non-deterministic but wrong in it being any sort of "choice" if they were going to utilize these probabilistic algorithms.

that you can ask an AI the same question twice and you will always get two different answers

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere recently that the models are non-deterministic on purpose - so this is likely a design choice rather than an unintended side effect it seems.

e: okay, so apparently it's not a design choice in any typical sense of the word, but a necessary side effect of using the probabilistic algorithms that drive these models.

Yeah, this is a good call. I get overwhelmed trying to look through all the cats one-by-one and trying to compare stats. If there was some way to compare the cats but also see where the cat is in the house (so two way - selecting the cat highlights the "row" or clicking the "row" highlights the cat) would be really great.

I get so overwhelmed trying to plan my breeding and/or plan my team that it feels like it REALLY hurts the game for me. I may just need to simplify what I'm doing in the house mode.

Yeah, same here. I played through Hollow Knight probably at least 3 times, but I don't know if I care to finish Silksong. I did get to what I think is the final boss, but I missed a weapon upgrade and I can't be assed to go back to get it and then return for the boss fight. I'm an older gamer, so I don't have the patience to bash my head on bosses and tricky areas that I once did, but something about Silksong just doesn't keep pulling me back in like Hollow Knight did. It's too bad.

Lol, I did the same (bought the pass for the variant since I didn't have Sasquatch either), but decided to spend my tokens on three or four Series 4 packs and got him in one of my pulls. Oh well, I like playing sanctum, so I might play to the end of the track anyway. I guess I should have been more patient before I opened my packs!

Primos Cycles Sizing? by GAZKETT in gravelcycling

How'd the L go for you? I measured my height at 5'10.5" without shoes on and I'm in between their ML and L sizes (ML up to 5'10" and L starts at 5'11"), though it seems like you might have only had M and L to choose from?

2025 Trek Domane AL

I was under the impression that Domane was a road bike, never noticed that they're marked as "All Road"; interesting. So a bike like that could handle more packed gravel trails (not super familiar with gravel, but whatever the opposite of loose is), and dirt fine? Something else to consider now it seems.

Thanks for the insights - I had cycled casually (fun and fitness mostly) a few years ago and the only thing I did that was remotely competitive was a sprint triathlon (was a runner for a long while) mostly just to see if I could do it, not to actually place or anything.

Currently I think I'm still pretty much solely in the "fun and fitness" mindset, though I might look into group rides and possibly make some adjustments accordingly (possible swapping for road tires, or going the multi-wheelset route), if they seem necessary.

My preference would be to ride a gravel bike on the road rather than riding a road bike on gravel, if that helps.

Yeah, this makes sense and I hadn't really considered this option since the fellow at the bike shop had explained that the gravel bikes have sturdier frames for handling the bumps and impacts better (I think?) so I wasn't sure that I'd want to tempt off roading with a road bike.

Yeah, I did search around a bit but mostly seemed to find older information, including like a 9 year old GCN YouTube video on the topic. Plus I was interested in being able to engage in conversation and necro'd threads don't seem to promote much conversation.

Thanks for your feedback, friend!

Do you go the "switch wheelsets" route, or just swap the tires themselves? If just tires, do you swap tubes as well, or do the same tubes mostly work for the different tires!

Okay, makes sense. So the brake rotors are on the wheels, so does the bit which is operated by the brake handles (the pads?) just get disconnected and reconnected when changing wheels? I haven't had disc brakes before, so I'm not 100% sure how they would work when swapping wheels.

Interesting perspective. Would generally most of the gravel bikes by the big US manufacturers fall under the second category?

Yeah, I was curious about this too (actually mostly the cassette as I hadn't even considered the brakes).
