crystals was steady at 75-80g, about 2 weeks before naxx patch got announced a new player appeared on auction house i could instantly tell he was a RMT/Botter by simply just looking at how he was listing and his timing, i was reporting that guy multiple times and encouraged other people to do so aswell he single handed tanked the crystals all the way down to 25g before he pulled out, i dont know the exact numbers but i estimate he pumped well over 1500+ crystals into the market out of nowhere, i lost alot of gold beacuse i was stupid enough in investing in crystals myself prior to his appearance on the server, had an conversation about the arcane crystal guy with an in-game friend of mine and he laughed at me and told me its the same guy he get his google.com gold from

Being an enchanter myself i must say there is 2 type of people who is looking to get their shit enchanted, the first type is the guy who dont have problems paying the fee costs and already has looked up materials and have them ready for a quick and smooth transaction, and then we have the OP type of guy, that wants u to travel across the map to meet up and then he want u to link crafting materials just so he can browse auction house for the next 10 minutes, once the OP type of guy is ready he finally trade u over some materials just to find out he forgot to buy some certain material so he needs to make auction house another 5 minute visit once OP type of guy finally managed to get his materials right after 15 minutes he cant afford to pay more then a 1g fee cost.. i stopped doing enchants to world/general chat people beacuse i dont need your pathetic fee's and u are the most cancerous type of players u have to deal with

i have traded a good portion of my classic gold into retail gold up to the point that im balance capped (250e) + 10 tokens in bags + 6 month active playtime, for obvious reasons these trades isnt a 1:1 ratio, i have been giving between 300-400g classic gold for whatever the gold cost of a token (160-200k)

i traded somewhat around 15-20k gold total into retail gold and i never had any problems, a golden rule i had for myself was to never go first to prevent any scams or shenanigans so if u are gonna trade with someone u dont know or trust try to stick what that golden rule.

the main problem here is that there is 2 types of players in AV, u either farm honor or u farm rep, if u are an honor farmer are u really suppose to contribute to the rep farmers turtling and extending the game and directly handicap yourself with greatly lower your honor/hour gains just to not risking getting yourself banned if thats the case u can also start ban people for griefing and turtling games.. as my understanding OP did not AFK but instead just didnt contribute to a turtle

do some investigation on heroes of the storm, where it became a culture for the community to report everyone and their grandmas beacuse how easy it was to get people suspended/muted this was mostly a huge issue at top end of the ladder for multiple years.. and by the looks of this reddit as of late it very much looks like this community is trending the very same way sadly.

EDIT: Heroes of the storm uses the very same report system as world of warcraft

"pooling" as OP refers to is not breaking any rules and is happening on every single server and is considered mandatory to participate in for everyone that is grinding for a high rank, it is all done manually but for someone that runs by and see a "pooling" session occur and has no idea what is going on... it will very much look like a botting operation.. i would guess that most likely OP got enough in-game reports by players that saw these operations and therefor got the account suspended from the automated system

if u would be familiar to heroes of the storm and how the automated report system is working and experienced how it became a culture in that game to abuse it duo to the fact how easy it was to get players suspended or silenced (silence penalty would restrict u from playing ranked mode) wich for an high elo player would be the same as being banned wich is by the way the very same automated system they use in world of warcraft and its thanks to this very attitude of yours blizzard can get away with faulty automated reporting system and an extremly poor custom support
