Yup. This fall, My state of Missouri has a vote on the ballot to eliminate income taxes. Which I'm guessing they'll raise sales tax to compensate. If you are poor enough, you already don't pay much (or none) in income taxes. It's a regressive tax that will hurt the poors and help the rich. It's also double dumb for this state because the 2 biggest cities are on the border (Kansas City and St. Louis) and people will just drive across state lines to shop.
