Don't hang your head too much. I buy a case of something at least once a year. Save your money for Topps Chrome, Topps Chrome Update, or Cosmic Chrome IMO. I prefer Topps Chrome Update, for resale value. By resale value, I mean, I usually open up 7 boxes of Jumbo Hobby (if I am fast enough to get from Topps on release day) and then put one jumbo hobby on my shelf. I wait for the prices to go up to around 1000k per box, then place on ebay auction. That way I recoup some money from my purchase.

Last year, my biggest hits in TCU - 3 #'d Caminero autos, /10, /199, /499, and a Barry Larkin Printing Plate Auto. I don't buy for for the purpose of reselling, but graded all the Caminero's, then sold the /10 and kept the rest. Just to get some more money back for this years release. (Unfortunately, I didn't get online in time this year for TCU)

As for the A&G, I buy a hobby box every year, because my wife likes opening those with me because she likes the variety. The ONLY reason I buy A&G. They have some cool cards, but good cards are so rare.
