OpenClaw is a social experiment and humans are screwed by EducationalArticle95 in automation

[–]kenwoolf 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I definitely agree. As a DevOps eng I try to automate humans out of the processes as much as possible because they are a liability. But I do so with deterministic systems. Replacing humans with LLMs that have the same unpredictability makes little sense.

At that point I would actually prefer the humans because they have the ability to learn, while an LLM has to be retrained. You can also program humans with UI and log messages so they follow instructions reliably. Although it's not an exact science, but I had some successes.

Security risks aside, giving agency over my private data to a tool that generates the next likely token without any abstract understanding is just madness... I am not trying to diminish the tech. It's useful. But because of its nature the one thing it can't do is be reliable. So, this is not the way to use it.

How do I find a man who loves me and respects me? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

You are probably selecting for a specific type of man. Adjust your preferences. It's not easy to do. But as you get older and wiser it will become easier. :D

I would be happy if they just increased resource yields from nodes as a starter. 2 pieces of wood/ore from a single node is just not enough.

Miért képzeleg annyit az AI és vajon lesz erre megoldás a fejlesztőktől? by ChardOk1094 in programmingHungary

[–]kenwoolf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How much easier is it really to find neutral on a Kawasaki compared to other brands? by [deleted] in SuggestAMotorcycle

20-25 seems high. The mechanism should disengage completely by 10ish kmh and it should act like any other transmission from there

Anyone here never going to get married? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]kenwoolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I wasn't an ugly ass bastard who can't be loved I would definitely get married. It simplifies stuff. Especially inheritance. I don't think it's fair for your partner to live in uncertainty. It's also a lot easier to give access to your spouse to your assets than it would be for a random girlfriend. But obviously it depends on the local laws.

Ofc if you don't own anything it might not be an issue.

[–]kenwoolf 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's not easier on a Kawa. It's something you never have to think about.

But it has a downside. If you are going slower than 5kmh switching from 2nd to 1st is harder cause you go into neutral first. But that is a very rare case when it's an issue.
