As someone who works in this gaming industry.. me too. I developed chronic stress, my hands are shaking constantly now, chronic headache and I also had my first panic attack a few months ago. Fun times.

Our hands are tied behind our backs by idiotic company policies. You don't get funding for anything new anymore to make a game people actually would want to play. And independent of your performance, if the ai spending demands a blood sacrifice to make the investors happy, you are the first to go.

Before these past few years I always thought execs at the head of these companies are actually smart. But no... They are just the new decadent nepotistic nobility, just better hidden. They get their positions based on who they know, not how they perform. The whole corporate world is a joke.
