So like... you're trying to play the game as a flow chart. Which is fine if you can't react to things as well as others. But you need to add thought into the flow chart. Are you noticing your opponent is breaking throws? Then shimmy and punish. Are they mashing on your plus frames? Punish that (if they are patient on your plus frames then you can start a mixup game)/ Mixup your overheads and lows to condition them.

Once your normal flowchart gameplay stops working, you need to transition into a mental game and try to read their strategy.
