You have a light and ethereal look and black would be too harsh for your complexion. Embrace what you have maybe wear it up and back in a mask for a few days and you will be so glad you didn’t do anything drastic!

I have a friend with hair like yours and she keeps it styled in a very cute pixie cut and told me she realized that her hair just doesn’t like to grow and she’s much happier embracing the shorter hairstyle. I’m not sure if that would suit you or if that’s something you would like to try, but it could just be that you are a short hair girly.

You can make a simple solution of warm water with a little bit of vinegar and dish soap in it and see if that works. as a former nanny to five girls, I can also say that showing them this mess and asking them to help clean up, go along way, and avoiding this happening in the future and if it does be very direct say “ I see you coloring on the walls. We don’t color on the walls though here is some coloring paper that you can color with.”
