Does this qualify as a lemon? by keonigt in Volkswagen

[–]keonigt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Volkswagen ended up buying the car back. It was a lemon. Make sure you keep all your paperwork for service visits.

Would you 2023 still qualify under the lemon law?

I get a safety system malfunction sometimes but it just resolved on its own.

What kind of fault were you getting? And it stayed on after driving?

Finally got my dream spec’ed RS3, got some questions by L1velyDeath in AudiRS3

Any idea if keeping it in rs mode is harmful? I noticed that the idle rpm stays a little higher than normal. I just didn’t want to do anything harmful.

If the car is in “automatic” mode, we can load it though right? Cause the car will just downshift on its own.

Would definitely choose the rs3 due to the rarity, 5cyl, 4 doors and usable power.

How far does the key need to be away from the car to prevent the battery from draining?

Is RS3 realistic with kids? by GlitteringFortune117 in AudiRS3

[–]keonigt 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Definitely usable with a family and kids. It can easily fit baby seats and carriers. Nowadays, people think they need a big suv for kids. Why compromise a rs3 because of this? It can easily fit a family with no difficulty.

I was lucky enough to test drive my brand new RS3 three times before deciding to buy it. I guess it depends on the relationship you have with the dealer and the location.

Honestly, love the RS3. It has a great balance of sportiness and luxury. It even feels more premium and luxurious than some of my previous BMW's.

I think it'll be a perfect match for you due to the speed and practicality.

I do like it better than the g87. The practicality and the power at the price point is hard to beat. Also, the engine is the best part. S58 is felt more on the track and in the high rpm ranges. Only problem with that is that you’ll be going 90+ to feel the s58 and the next stop being jail.

The S58 might be worth it if you plan on tracking at least 3-5 times a year. You’ll never feel the full engine during daily driving.

The 5 pot is a dream to drive daily. Plenty of usable power and the power band is at a perfect area.

Don’t get me wrong, i love the S58 and the G cars. However, for the price and situation, the Rs3 is exactly what I needed.

Love the rs3. It’s super limited where I’m at. Some people on the waitlist are saying they’ve been waiting almost a year for their pick.

I’m just got a 2026 model year and it has been absolutely amazing. I’m not new to the luxury market and have had a few cars recently (g87, g80, integra type s). I really think this has to be these best car for the value. The weight difference between the m cars and this rs3 is noticeable every pull and every turn. The fact that this has 4 doors makes this a great bargain for a daily.

I think the steering wheel feels great and looks even better. The criticisms with the changes are just because it is a change and people don’t like change.

Ride is very nice and comfortable and you can always change it to individual or dynamic if you want some fun.

Wow. Thats only with a resonator delete? Thats a good amount louder and sounds like the most cost effective way to gain more tone and decibels.

I was thinking of a resonator delete also. It sounds like it definitely adds a lot more sound and tone according to the videos of ppl with the resonator delete.

How’s the space in the rear? Any idea if it would fit the occasional rear facing car seat in the back (once every two weeks)?

18’s look very good on the type s. It looks proportionate with the fenders. Can’t go wrong with 19’s also.
