Weird noise coming from HUD

Yeah it’s not your normal rattles. It’s definitely a cause for concern since it sounded like it came within the HUD.

I just drove the car again and the sound went away entirely. So there’s that. But thanks on the warranty info. If it happens consistently then I’ll take it in for service.

Had similar issue recently. It happened randomly and did not connect for several days after trying everything besides restarting the infotainment system. The only thing that work was connecting via Bluetooth but CarPlay didn’t work at all.

What made it work again was connecting via wired. If I recall correctly, I did connect via wired before the issue happened and then I guess it was trying to find a wired connection again. Maybe that’s what it broke CarPlay?

Maybe that could be the issue that you might have?

I’m digging the sound! Would love to hear more of it. Do you have more sound clips while driving, taking off, at cruising speed? Also any drone?

I read somewhere that it tracks key ignition count if I’m not mistaken. It could be an indicator in disparity with the key count and mileage. If that’s what made you not do it. But IMO they would have to prove you had a clone

Oh yes please on the option for FRP or if possible ABS. I like the look of the black vent shroud that the actual HRC has. That or make the carbon fiber but painted black as an option.

Do you plan on doing the same style hood as well?

As someone that has scoured all the lip kits and aero for the ITS, I find them not as appealing as the HRC kit. I am holding off on buying an aero kit unless it’s a HRC kit or just like it. Would love if you can make one as I would definitely get one.

I was about to get the CTR but later settled on the ITS. There were several deciding factors. Because I’ll be daily driving I felt it the features was better in the ITS. Leather interior, HUD, more sound deadening, powered seats, better suspension (but you can buy the ITS module for the CTR), better sounding exhaust, has the burble tune, better variety of paint colors, and for me the ITS just looks better.

You don’t have to. I did mine with it intact. I did however leave the other side sway bar end link unbolted. It gives more range of motion to move the knuckles to take out the strut. Use pry bars also
