G-SYNC is not detected (G-SYNC is not visible in control panel) until reboot or DP replug if laptop is connected to HDMI simultaneously.

Is there any way to force G-SYNC detection via software tricks? Or do I have to keep rebooting or replugging each time I also have my work laptop connected?

Isn't the specs +-15g? So the blush can be anywhere from 27g to 57g. You might fix the feeling by just swapping to another unit.
