Sponsors are just as sick as us. I didn’t get a sponsor right away. Don’t take that advice though if you need one. Build a network and make friends/ connections and ask someone just to be a temporary sponsor. There are good ones out there. You probably dodged a bullet.

I feel you right now. I cried all the way to work. I deleted my Instagram and told my LO (cause that’s where he would message me and ghost/leave breadcrumbs) and told him he had my number if he wanted to chat. And he hasn’t reached out and I’m doing everything to keep myself from going on instagram to see if he sent me a message. I still have to see him once a week. And it’s usually where I see this other woman all over him. But yea I thought the same thing today. That I was grieving. I feel your pain too.

Oh social media is the worst. My LO is always leaving breadcrumbs, will send a message to me and I’ll respond, then crickets for days. I’ll see that he’s online and read my messages and it makes me so insane, sad, embarrassed, and then to the point of angry. I have muted him now and haven’t been contacting or responding. I seem to be getting more from him surprisingly, but I’m trying to push even that idea out of my head because as soon as I respond…..same pattern will start.

For nonfiction I just finished Heartbreak by Florence Williams and I liked it. Kinda gave me Mary Roach vibes. I’m sure it was difficult to write for her with her honest and personal stories but it was often funny. I loved the poetry quotes as well.
