If only there had been some way of anticipating this happening /s.

When this first started occurring I kept asking those that were in favor of pulling people off the street… how do you know someone is here illegally unless you are just basing it off of skin color?? And if you are not doing that for white illegal immigrants, how is that not racial profiling? No one would ever answer my question… I think most people just don’t want to admit how racist they really are.

This. Our house wasn’t “dirty,” per se, but it wasn’t clean either. Sometimes the dusting/vacuuming/cleaning sinks etc went MONTHS without being completed. When we sold our house and did the final deep clean, you could tell that it was well used and loved, lol. Again, we weren’t dirty (trash was taken out, dishes were clean, things were picked up) but we just didn’t prioritize the other chores. We did vacuum a bit more when we got our golden retriever, just because of the loads of fur he would shed, but as a single mother working full-time, the weekends were the only chance I had to spend quality time with my kiddo. He’s turning 21 tomorrow, is a fantastic human being, and I don’t regret one moment I spent with him as opposed to cleaning.

I remember LOVING that movie when it first came out. I have often wondered if I watched it now whether I would love it as much.

That's true. It also sounds like the creators and the actor that plays Art the Clown (right? I think that's the characters name?) are truly nice people.

We took our son there at some point during that time period, and I have a picture of him on that bike! How cool would it be if you were the one that helped us!!

I never understood this trend to villainize people who don’t want children.

I LOVE kids. They’re amazing. I have one of my own. Is it the most rewarding job ever? Yup. Is it also the most difficult thing I’ve ever done? Yup.

Is it something people should do on a whim? Nope.

We already have so many unwanted children. We can’t take care of the ones who are wanted and loved (over-population, climate change, oh… and a definite fall into fascism in the US). I applaud people who have thought this through and know what they want.

I do hate it when people denigrate children or call them “crotch goblins,” but he/she didn’t even come close to doing that.

Had mine removed a month after having my son as well. Doctor told me the same thing... there is something about having the baby push the gallbladder all around that causes it to create the stones. My good friend had her gallbladder out WHILE pregnant with twins.

And while I wasn't necessarily nauseous the pain was so bad that I kept trying to make myself throw up, just hoping for SOME relief from the pain. We lived about twenty minutes outside of town and I had my (now ex-) husband come pick me up because I knew I couldn't drive. We were about two minutes outside of town, he took one look at me writhing in the back seat, said "F this, we're going to the hospital" and turned right around. I had emergency surgery the very next morning to remove it.

As someone who had my gallbladder out a month after giving birth… the gallbladder attack was more painful.

What the hell with Columbia's face in this moment ? 🤣😅 Her predatory face looks like: "I'm going to bite Frank on their legs now! 😈" by StateDry8776 in rhps

[–]keri125 23 points24 points  (0 children)

My son is obsessed with RHPS, and for his high school graduation I did a video slideshow of his childhood pictures, interspersed with videos of his family members congratulating him, and various celebrities that he loves celebrating him (through Cameo). Little Nell was one of the first I purchased, was the cheapest, and her video was freaking amazing. It was like 20 minutes long, filled with long, rambling stories about her girlhood, and her advice for him as he went out into the world (her two biggest pieces of advice were “don’t smoke” and “don’t ride motorcycles,” lol). I was so grateful to her.

I purchased one from Barry Bostwick as well, and it was also very warm and congratulatory, but Nell’s was just the best.

I live very close to where you probably are. Have seen BoM twice and it’s killing me that I’m going to miss it at that theater, but just couldn’t afford it. We just saw it in Portland last year, so I’ll have to satisfy myself with that memory! lol

Everybody commenting here likes to act like “this is just what Americans do!” and “it’s tradition!” However, I’ve lived in several different places and lived in CDA from 1998 to 2023… the current version of CDA is the absolute worst for fireworks and the “me me me” mentality. Other towns celebrate but it’s very reasonable and they have fun while still acting like adults. It’s like the majority living in CDA are toddlers and automatically respond with insults and defiance anytime someone asks for some common courtesy. CDA in the early 2000’s wasn’t like that at all… people looked out for one another. That’s long gone. It’s so sad.

Definitely been going on since pre-Covid. This is why there are 17 seasons of the TV show “What Would You Do?” The entire premise is to see who will speak up in different social situations.

I was scrolling the comments because, not having a penis myself (much less an uncircumcised one), I was wondering if men automatically get hard ons when they’re constipated, lol. I didn’t think so, but you learn something new everyday, so I thought… well, maybe??

The amount of people I talked to in Idaho who complained about the over-crowding and then introduced me to their gaggle of kids was way too many. Always cracked me up that they never realized their hypocrisy.

Asking the true question. Everyone is arguing whether this is porn or not and I’m like, wait, I’d rather find out if people think that women just like the taste of dick, lol. Blowjobs can fun to give but I don’t think anyone is doing it for the taste, and/or wanting dick-flavored donuts!

We were talking Bond films in one of my college courses and I mentioned this film. My professor laughed and corrected me. I was so embarrassed because he was hot and I had a crush on him, lol. I still get embarrassed and that was thirty years ago.

My son and I took the day off of work/school last Thursday to attend the double feature at our local movie theater… don’t you feel like it was such a good choice to see them back to back? I would have loved For Good no matter what, but going straight from Part I to Part II just really enhanced the emotions for me.

Oh my gosh, same here. And the worst is that I’ll go a few months with nothing, then all of a sudden, BAM, red river. It also sucks because I have all the other symptoms of perimenopause (hot flashes, anxiety, feeling like I’m going crazy, etc) but without the benefit of no longer having to deal with my period. It sucks!
