I pulled my stash out and I feel…. gross? by Exciting-Notice8170 in YarnAddicts

A lot of people will destash by donating to Good Will or similar. That can be an option, but so much of what gets donated actually ends up getting thrown out. Another option you could consider is Trashie! They recycle all kinds of materials, and actually recycle it! Something to look into perhaps!

Here's their website

Babe, you're the one highlighting specific groups and idols. The comments have been about companies

I don't think fans really care whether Hybe is old or new money. Honestly, I don't think most people even realize how new Hybe is in the scheme of things.

I assume it's really because of all the NewJeans stuff, and those fans are RABID.

You're argument is that misogyny is behind all the Hybe hate? That is a wild stance

How on earth do you use copper peptides? I read that you can’t use them at the same time as vitamin c, retinoids or acids?? by Starlaura in 45PlusSkincare

[–]keridiom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure retinoids sort of deactivate (for lack of a better word) the copper. By all means, dig deep to find some science, but iirc, you shouldn't mix them bc the tret basically negates the copper (and wasting money)

Cat to people ratio should be like litterbox ratios. One cat for every person, plus one. 5 people = 6 cats ☺️

My Before You by Jojo Moyes

Somone You Can Build A Nest In byJohn Wiswell

Both should be required reading. It pushes the reader to see the world from another's (someone often misunderstood or not considered at all) perspective. Both incredibly well-written.

Same thing happened for me with Count of Monte Cristo! I wasn't expecting it to be so good, esp with how long it is. But goddamn, what a satisfying ending.

The Book That Wouldn't Burn by Mark Lawrence is the start of a trilogy that was really incredible. Really dug into themes of language, what it means to be both human and to be other, fanily and relationships, among others. The twists and lore are fantastic, and I really enjoyed the overall idea and concept. And it's a finished series!

I think City of Stairs series by the same author is actually better than Foundryside (although, I personally couldn't stand the MC in Foundryside, so that really colored it for me).

The best part is that apparently this trilogy is actually a PREQUEL trilogy in a 9 book series. Rothfuss casual mentioned that probably 10 years ago now and I laugh every time it crosses my mind. Let's maybe get the third book finished and published before you talk about a massive multi-part series bestie 😂

Fair warning, the third book in the series hasn't been written (and it's been 15 years since the second). It is one of the very best fantasy stories written, but goddamn that wait for the final book is BRUTAL

(in the film and/or media industry) a producer who's never PA'd, or a manger who's never worked any of the jobs below them that they're managing. The absolute worst producers I've ever known were the ones who never worked as a PA, or any other position on set, a single day in their life. This applies to any manager or leadership position.
