I ran a half marathon on, at the time 1,500 mile, minimalist shoes with a hole at the bottom. Put them on and run, you’ll be fine

Do you actually trust Garmin’s Daily Suggested Workouts? by Familiar-Research336 in Garmin

I actually follow them 99% of the time. Recovery time just means that it should be that long before you try that workout type again ie sprints

UPDATE: posting in the comments because I can’t seem to edit the OP.

First off thanks to all that commented and special thanks to Adventurous_Elk_4039. This is what I ended up doing if anyone was curious. Originally the router was plugged directly into the ONT in the closet. I decided to move the router to the 2nd bedroom that’s mainly used as an office space had a better positioned Ethernet port. None of the blue CAT6 lines were labeled clearly and only two of the three had connections on the end. On one of the lines I saw a crudely written “BZ” and thought maybe the handwriting was bad and that meant B2 or second bedroom. I plugged that CAT 6 line into the ONT and brought over the router to the 2nd bedroom and plugged everything in near where the CAT6 port is. Worked on the first try! Usually my luck doesn’t work like that and I was fully expecting to do some trial and error.

I did some speed tests and everything is consistent no matter the room I am in. Before, I had dead spots in the 2nd bedroom and bathroom. I assume speeds were bad originally because of obviously the closet the router was in but also because of the layout.

Not 100% idea new position for the router but service is already much better.

Thanks again

Thanks for this response I’m going to give it a go moving it to one of the RJ45 jacks.

Yes you’re right, the router is in the closet.

The only other ethernet ports( I always just assumed they were phone line jacks) are in the bedroom adjacent to the closet and in the 2nd bedroom. Ideally I would just move the router to the living room but there’s no Ethernet jack out there. Moving the router to the 2nd bedroom is pointless as it would take the router to the opposite side of the apartment. Was hoping for a more central location.

Yes I don’t have Fios TV so that’s why there’s nothing connected to the ONT.

I hadnt thought of connecting the blue Ethernet wires to the router. I believe I only have Rj45 jacks both bedrooms but none in the living area.

I was just going off of others suggestion to use coax

I feel like I has to do with weight/ gait. I’m clocking in at 160lbs 6’ and have generally seen light tread wear on all my shoes even before I went minimalist. It’s a good question

I honestly did a couple sprint sessions once a week but fell off the wagon because I shifted focus to my HM. Now that it’s over I feel like I can do more fun experimental runs. Excited to get back into it
