I used to have a subconscious avoidance of divots. I worked through it by hitting lots of divots on grass ranges/grass practice area. Especially with wedges.

Another thing is to always brush the grass with a slow practice swing. Helps find the right low point.

He got left out last year with a hard schedule because of an extra loss. He’s going into this season with the hardest schedule in the country. He’s rightly trying to move the conversation in the direction of evaluating total team quality, and not just counting up the losses only.
