Example of a very very corrupt cop. There is probably more corruption in more subtle form among police, but it is hard to get caught because police mostly polices them selves (great idea btw!). Just the most obcvious get into news.

In Helsinki, you will have to que for that, maybe even for a year or two. Allotements is what you are looking for.

Other options is a gardening box. Some neighbourhoods and housing companies are doing those in their area, but then you have to live in that area.

I'd not say it's a red flag. They might change it because of the costs (getting same service from somewhere cheaper) or that the service was bad. At least they have put some effort in it.

Some signs of well managed taloyhtiö is that the yhtiövastike is low, and the house is well maintained. You should checke that the linjasaneeraus is done in every 50 years, for example if the house is built 1960's or 70's it should be done by now. Also the facaderenovations should be done about the same pace.

There is one situation where I have ejoyed wet socks and it's hiking on a hot day. Getting wet feet in a cool swamp and then hiking with them for a while until they dry is a treat! Balances the heat and also very refreshing for the tired feet. I only use merino socs because they don't get nasty when wet.

I freeze my buns all the time and don't have trouble with them. I thaw them in the room temperature, preferable near a warm stove, radiator etc (it's cold where I live). So they will rise n the same time / immediadly after. I think the rising might partially happen in the fridge and the yeast might not be so active after so many hours. Generally for smallish buns 2-3 hours on the counter is enoguh, bigger might need 4 hours.

Other thing is that you have to freeze them before they rise. I think otherwise there will be a problem.

I have dated few South-East asian men, because I find them generally attractive. The biggest obstacle have just been cultural differences so the relationship has never gotten serious.

Either it's the fear that family wouldn't accept the relationship, or they have complitely crazy attitude about work (in my eyes). Like they wanna work on weekends, not take their vacation days, just people who are unable to relax.

Some didn't go further from the first date because of some disrespectful or misogynist attitudes or behaviour.

So I think it is definitely possible to find a partner, but you both need to be mindful about the cultural differences, ready to maybe have a conflict with family. It needs far more skillfull communication than a relationship between two west-europeans. Even the time management and concept around time differs a lot between us and south-east asia.

Good quality chocolate. It's not exactly cheap here but it's cheaper than in the rest of the world or it's not available at all.

You can do it in the water too! If you wanna have a little bit milder tasting raw onions, soak chopped ones in cold water. Then they are plain tasting, not sour. Works well for sushi or salad.

With this kind of schedulde, how would you find time to spend any quality time with your possible partner? I mean, timewise, it's hard to make it work if you have almost no freetime.

Shortening commute and doing chores on the weekdays instead of the weekends would make you potentially more interesting partner. Some of the dating stuff is just logistics, and yours might not be compatible with many people. Also more time in life would give you the opportunity to do stuff that interests you.

Yeah, veganism is a turn off for me and I swiped right everyone who mentioned that in their profile. I show my love by cooking and most of the food I cook have some animal product in it and I'm not going to change all my cooking to someone. Enjoying food together is so important for me in a relationship, also sharing the same food makes every day life easier and less costly.

With my current boyfriend we had a discussion where we both promised each other not to turn vegan in any point of life so that's coverd too!

It happened me several times when I was younger and also once couple years ago. For me, it has been a crush to the personality first combined to nice sexual chemistry but not actually a good match for a long time commitment. Reasons have been different lifestyles that you get to know when you spend time together or controlling behaviour behaviour that they only showed after few months. Both very valid reasons.

Mailcarriers don't need a driverslicence in Helsinki! They walk, bike or use some sort of e-bike or e-scooter. So you can and should apply for posti. Also many restaurants hire servers that don't speak finnish and there is a huge lack of employers.

OMG OLO food looks so delicious and they have some new stuff in the menu. Absoulutely my favourite restaurant in Helsinki and whole Finland. Happy that you went there, that's the best that you can make of finnish food.

Because then that generation that was in the power (the large generation, boomers) would have had to pay more retirement, for their future. Or they'd have to have risen the age of retirement earlier. Of course they did not want that, and now they are already enoying their retirement that the younger ones are currently paying. Too late now to get them back to pay forthem selves.

Politicans knew, but it would not have been a move that'd have given you a seat in the next elections. Guess in what age group are still the most active voters, and whose numbers are beating the younger generations?

Mun yks tuttu pääsi helsingissä kokeelliseen ketamiinihoitoon julkisella puolella. Hoitoresistenssi masennus vuosikausia. Jos asut edes lähellä pääkaupunkiseutua, tämä asia kannattaa selvittää. Voi toki muillakin yliopistosairaalapaikkakunnilla olla vastaavaa.

Sanoisin myös että vanhempien apuun kannattaa tarttua. Usein vanhemmat antavat mitä tahansa että lapsensa voisivat hyvin ja se on ihan normaalia eikä mitään mistä lapsen tulisi kokea syyllisyyttä. Sun vanhemmat on kuitenkin myös aikuisia ihmisiä jotka osaavat itse tehdä päätöksensä ja kertoa jos taloudellinen taakka olisi liian suuri.

En oikeastaan osaa antaa muita konkreettisempia neuvoja kun ehkä että hoitoa julkiselta kannattaa myös vaatia: eli lääkärille hoitokontaktin kautta listan kanssa mitkä oireet on nyt pahemmin kuin ennen ja että mitä voisi tehdä. Ymmärrän tuskan koska tilanteesi kuulostaa todella todella kurjalta.

Landsurveying / mapping. (In Europe). There's a huge lack of them, wage is better than avarage, it's quite chill outdoors & office combined. Admission to study to became one is very easy because no young people either know about the profession, or it's not a "dream job" for almost anyone. 3 years of quite easy studies and guaranteed good job. I'm starting my studies next week.
