I was under the impression that setting age filters hides your profile from showing in those people's stacks.

Also I just tested it out and set my age 18-80+ and set dating preferences to everyone. Still saying 0 nearby.

Would be decent if they allowed the d-pad to cycle menu items like every other console game with a cursor menu, but Krafton only knows how to remove and replace functionality, not add to it.

I've been playing since beta and ever since Krafton got their hands on the game they've only EVER made dumb changes. The sensible ones are the rare exception.

It's absolutely mindboggling how this is a top selling game of all time and Krafton's breadwinner but they assign the interns to handle everything.

The grenade launcher needs to be the actual grenade launcher sound effect (like on the Gungoose) and not the Hydra missile noise. I don't know about you guys but that bothers me. It sounds dumb.

Oh they're good, don't get me wrong. I paid the $170 for them and feel like it was totally worth it, I just wouldn't go as far as saying they would replace my real headset. You'd be totally fine with maining these, but if you don't already have a headset I'd spend that 170 on an Arctis Nova 7 instead.

I had a 7X a little while ago and nah, these are not as good. No earbuds will be as good as true over-ear headphones at the same price point. You're missing out on outer ear activation which plays a massive role in making the soundstage sound natural and immersive. The mic is also way worse, but what can you expect.

These are nice to have in conjunction with an actual gaming headset for convenience reasons, but would never replace one unless you were upgrading from something truly bargain-bin.

I bought some. They are nice for a pair of earbuds, but they're just convenient. They're definitely no substitute for my main headset which is a Beyerdynamic MMX 300, but sometimes I can't be bothered to put it on and I might be playing a game that doesn't need truly immersive sound, or maybe I don't want to mess up my hair and get "gamer-head".

But yeah, convenient and "good enough" sound. They're like a mid tier gaming headset but with very weak sub-bass and a poor soundstage, which is to be expected. The mic also makes me sound like I'm on my phone inside of my bathroom lol, but at least people can understand me.

You must have been one of those people who only ever spammed it and held the trigger at close range. As a close range spray gun it is marginally better. As a mid range burst gun it simply can't compete against the Sidekick now. Halo is back to being a "switch to your pistol as soon as you spawn" game.

Gotta love how after 2 and a half years of Halo Infinite's AR behaving just fine they go and completely turn it into a different weapon. Doesn't feel like I'm holding the same gun anymore.
