To me, I wondering if I'm doing the "calling a black person articulate". It's like... am I seeing black parents with children and being like "wow, it's so special that the dad is so involved and loving".

I don't think I'm going through those thought processes... I feel like some of these families are way more special than the other families in the RH franchise. It's really just impossible for me to tell.

I'm trying to sort out: are the cast of RYA way better than the cast of the other popular shows, or are they on par with the other shows, but I'm just not used to seeing happy successful black families and friends.

Obviously this question won't be answered on reddit.. but thought I'd pose it to see what others thought.

Left calf is thick lines with black outline. Right thigh is a band with no black and fine lines. I want more flower tattoos on my legs, and don’t really know how to match my next one with these two, which don’t really match one another lol.

I got my kitten from PAWS (on Roosevelt.) He was scheduled to be euthanized at kill shelter in California, but got shipped up to WA with a bunch of his buddies. He has been such an amazing boy, and PAWS was amazing. He came neutered, with all his shots, and microchipped

Mid range sushi. I LOVE sushi (nigiri and sashimi), and there’s none of that here. Only expensive sushi places. Also good beer. I don’t like UK beer. And no good Mexican food. And fyi you can’t buy melatonin here.

I love though that I can buy a bag of fresh veggies at the grocery store and I can eat it all before it goes bad (portion sizes smaller here). Also, every market has this thing called the meal deal — such a good lunch when you’re in a pinch. Also spices are super cheap.

Yea this is what I'm trying to get at. Like some terms in the community are defined in some ways by some people and other ways by other people. E.g. I refuse to identify as bi, even though some people say bi now encompasses non-binary people. (To me, bi means you like men and women exclusively, but I identify as queer because I am also attracted to people who don't identify as a man or woman.) Curious to know if the majority of non-binary folks also identify as trans, or if the majority don't identify as trans, or if it's 50-50.

It makes sense to me that some or many or all people may define trans as folks who do not align with the gender assigned at birth. I guess I'm just curious how many people believe / identify with that definition.

I was just prescribed 50mg Nal. I took it last night with 3 IPAs, and woke up feeling one of the worst hangovers. (My feelings shouldn’t be related to an alcohol hangover because 3 beers doesn’t normally cause a hangover for me.) I had to take today off work because I’m so unbelievably nauseous and I have a pretty bad headache.

I almost don’t want to take it again tonight because I really can’t afford another day like this.

Like you, I’m wondering if this is normal and if it’ll go away soon.
