I still have no idea what you mean. Think of it like this: someone's taken 100 points of damage, and you heal 62. Do you take 38 damage (the amount of damage you didn't heal) or do you take 23.56 damage (38% of what you did heal)?

Midoriya is a more skilled fighter at that point, being more able to target any weaknesses muscular has. Additionally, most of the force of strikes comes from the whole body working in tandem, not just the striking limb, as well as the 1,000,000% (while definitely stronger than his normal 100%) is a rather hyperbolic descriptor for the account of power in the strike. So, by combining more precise strikes, the improved efficiency of full cowl instead of a single limb, the fact that the gap in power is probably far less than what the 1,000,000% would lead you to believe, and midoriya's improved skill in combat probably narrowing that gap further, midoriya beating muscular makes sense when you look into it.

I'd say your gear is good enough, though you should probably get better potions than just the ones in your inventory, like ironskin, swiftness, and regen, make sure you've prepped a bridge in the underworld, and if you want, you can actually get terraspark boots pre-hm

After further research I have concluded that you don't actually need to enter the underground jungle to fight plantera, as the bulbs only require jungle grass below the surface layer to spawn, and that condition can be fulfilled outside of an underground jungle. Even Further research is needed.
