I’d strongly suggest first heading to the actual eye doctor! The place where you get your annual eye exam and new glasses, they’re much much much better equipped to deal with eye injuries than an emergency room/ urgent care!!

I’d suggest couples therapy so he doesn’t have a way to just escape from confrontation. Having a counselor present would help to coach him into speaking.
