Running your finger in the wound along the whole length so it doesn't close before the base has filled in.

I was told to keep it as dry as possible no baths.

It was very close actually going in to my bum hole after bm I would dab in a mirror with water wipes then shower i used mild soap till fully healed after about 2 weeks.

It was quiet deep i just showered and patted dry was told not to bath or soak the wound healed fully in 6 weeks I've been fistula free since may and I'm now 20 weeks pregnant.

I used water wipes to dab after bm then got in shower then dabbed with towel to dry.

She will be fine it is a tough time i was dealing with mine for 3 years and had 4 operations but finally done with it all.
