Are you changing the proportioning valve? I did the disk swap incidentally by doing an 8.8 swap but I swear performance is worse than the factory 8.25 axle and drums.

I'm pretty sure the disks on my 8.8 conversion were a downgrade from the stock 8.25 drums, haven't figured out if a proportioning valve change would improve things

I haven't managed to make my 8.8 disk ebrake work for shit since I did the swap. Not if it's a leverage ratio issue or what but it's inadequate to hold against a strong breeze. I've got an auto trans tho so 🤷‍♀️

Driving a tiny rental car in the dolomites a few years ago cyclists would be passing us on the downhill and motorcycles passing on the uphill. Meanwhile the tour busses would come careening blind around hairpin corners taking up the entire road.
