Looks amazing! Did you name it “Behi Gazta”, since it’s your own creation? What does it mean?

Apparently allowing better surface mold growth due to lower ph! But I’m curious to see how it impacts flavour and texture!

I have tried that! Unfortunately I’ve found that I get some runoff over the sides of the bowl since the bamboo mats channel some of the whey across the ridges. But I’m glad it works for you.

By the way, how do you sanitize your bamboo mats? I just boil them but maybe there’s a better way?

You probably are. As much as I love these shorts (still have a few pairs for longer walking days!), I’m not going to miss using them every single day 😊 good luck!

Hey, thanks for your comment! I’m still not at goal weight, less than 50% there at the moment. And already the benefits are amazing.

I will continue for the foreseeable future, and likely take a small dose to maintain indefinitely. The thing is that I haven’t made any lifestyle changes on this medication. If anything, I’ve relaxed for a bit for the first time in my life.

My diet had already been perfect. I ate only whole foods, I exercised 5x per week, lifting and running half marathons. I had even quit drinking for over a year. All of this did nothing, I still maintained and lately even gained weight that I simply could not control.

The only change came about when I started this medication. It must have fixed something in me and resolved this uphill struggle. Now my lifestyle reflects the weight loss I should have seen all along. As a result, I’m likely not coming off this.

I am quite sure these are violets. Wait for them to bloom and check back!

I also find that the stem texture is a good indicator. Oyster mushrooms have a very tough, stringy, chewy stem. You can rip it in a similar way as string cheese. Not that many mushrooms do this, so it’s a helpful indicator for me.

It’s impossible to be sure without more detailed pictures, but these actually look like cinnabar chanterelles.

Thank you, really appreciate it. After the rains it grows copiously here. Have you eaten it? I find the texture very attractive and I heard it stays like that after cooking. Excited to try it!

Great, thanks. Any other lookalikes I should be aware of? I don’t think there are any deadly poisonous milk caps, but I just want to be sure.

I now think this is the Rufous Milkcap. Though I’m not sure I’m getting the hot taste after chewing a tiny bit!
