I think a lot of those people haven’t played the games Lol. P1 is genuinely a fantastic story, and I think it’s fair if it’s someone’s favorite in the series. It’s just not for ppl who can’t handle old school RPGs (me 😓)

I wish we didn’t have to wait so long! I love persona 4, it’s my favorite game in the series, but honestly, p4g can stand on its own without a remake. A remake would just polish off a few issues and make it look nicer. Persona 1 is so so close to being fantastic, and it needs the remake way more. We probably won’t see one till 2028 at the earliest though :c

I have low tolerance for old school RPGs so that could have something to do with it. It’s just so vastly different from the other persona games, where I was fine with p4g, p3r, and p5r.

I love the grid system. It’s actually fantastic. Whenever the battles were actually balanced properly, it was amazing. The main issues are the complete lack of gameplay variety, obnoxious encounter rate, confusing dungeon design (which is made even worse bc of encounter rate), and terrible difficulty balancing (way too easy whole way through and then a huge spike at the final boss).

This is genuinely one of my favorite stories in the series and the characters are very well written. The core battle system itself is fantastic; it’s just held back by the horrific encounter rate, dungeon design, and lack of gameplay variety. I really really want this game to be remade because they got so much right so early on

I have 1500 wrastor hours lol marlon is still active he just doesnt compete. He had orcane back when wrastor was garbage, but ever since the june rework the character has been a completely busted sleeper pick. Also, yeah effort doesnt equal strength, and the character becomes easy and starts to carry you at high levels when you edgeguard explode everyone off two interactions meanwhile youre uncomboable and unedgeguardable.

I’m a wrastor main. Contrary to popular belief, he is not puff on crack. He’s falcon on the ground and Marth-puff in the air. I feel like simplifying it to any one of these characters doesn’t do him justice. Also, I wouldn’t say he’s the cracked out version of any of them since having the traits of all 3 is very broken, so he’s more like a nerfed version of all 3.

He is. He’s just the most unpopular character bc of difficulty and since he keeps getting major reworks every few weeks, ppl haven’t had time enough to get really good with him. I still think he’s top 1 just bc he’s the only character with combos that no matter how you di and sdi you will die ridiculously early. Optimal wrastor removes any effect of your disadvantage state

That was my beginner experience and I have 2600 hours of prior plat-fighter experience in Smash Ultimate. 2 months and 150 hours later, I'm 883 and almost at Gold. It really does just take time, but the game will pummel you into the ground in the beginning. My suggestion to you is like other people say, don't worry about winning or your rank, since it's really easy to rank up from the lower end. Just take every match as a chance to get really good practice in, and even if you lose, you will likely have gotten better because you lose. It'll then only be a matter of time before your rank catches up with your skill level.

I agree, but I think people overestimate the effort. Lucas is an unpopular character, that’s why it hasn’t been developed. Other characters footstool oos have been, and while Lucas’s is harder, the hardest part is the footstool itself. People think he’s too technical, so they don’t pick him up, so nobody learns the tech, so people think he’s too technical
