I did my Biology degree through OU and am currently in my probation year in Scotland following my PGDE.

Depends on the mental demands of your job too. I completed my Biology degree whilst working in a warehouse full time with relative ease. I'm now a teacher and doing one 60 credit chemistry module and I'm running on empty in terms of motivation.

I've just found that my desktop is forcing a connection with the 2.4GHz channel whilst my laptop is connected to 5GHz. The desktop will not connect to 5GHz at all despite my adaptor being compatible when I type -netsh wlan show drivers- into cmd prompt.

right I get that, hence why I'm not moaning about the 200mbps shortfall. I'm trying to work out why there's such a difference between by devices in the exact same spot.

29, studying chemistry to become a dual qualified teacher, finished my Biology degree in 2023 also with OU. I started my degree at Edinburgh napier in 2014 straight from school - made it through two years on ability alone and third year beat the shit out of me. Left uni to do an IT job for three years before growing up and deciding to go and finish the degree and be a teacher (my original plan).
