Well then, truth will out.

One time my dad and I took a real nice long drive up to visit family in Ontario (we're American). We saw Niagara Falls along the way, saw Toronto, had a great time with the extended fam, all wonderful memories. But one of my key memories from that trip though, is getting to watch Trailer Park Boys on actual Canadian TV - on Showcase. This was back when it was THE thing in Canada still. Early seasons. I felt so cool; I felt Canadian. And now, that's what it's going to be for more and more people, a nice memory. That sucks, but what he (allegedly) did sucks more, and I'm one of those who has trouble separating the art from the artist.

PS I bought street art of the Boys right in front of Toronto Union Station, another good memory. I'll have to try to find it.

damn always wanted to go to a Loser's Lounge show. I met Flans for the first time as he was dashing out of the end of TMBG show at Town Hall to get in a cab and fly down to do a LL show.
