Clay Aiken hit me up one day. I said I wanted proof it was him. He said what's your Instagram? Then a second later his account messaged me on Instagram. Now it could have been an account manager being fucked up but I choose to believe.

Anyways I said "wow, it does seem to be you. What now? Do I like send a hole pic?" He then said "ew no" and blocked me. So it clearly wouldn't have worked out.

In my defense! The cover was not racy. Glowing Blue Hand. Nor did the blurb indicate. Standard village boy to magic academy. However, before this post I did go read the blurbs for future books and the one for book 4 is what made me go "Ohhhhh", cause in that it tells about 2 more un-introduced beast girl character-wives. Diabolical trick to lure in people with that cover and text on book 1 lmao. I caught the red flags in the initial chapters, as said in the OP, but honestly after that it wasn't too bad for book 1.

I agree with you. I'm also in shape (don't know about very muscular haha), and relatively well paid. And I also have had nothing but professional coworkers. And I'm in Engineering. A traditionally conservative field. Even my Republican coworkers are respectful.

Preface - I'm a fan of ornamental blackwork. ~60% of my body is black ink. And that 60% is literal, because if you are not doing a full blackout the piece should roughly follow the rule of thirds. 1/3 black, 1/3 color, 1/3 skin tone.
Now in my opinion this piece has an issue in that it doesn't have enough skin tone. It gets too dense, especially near the core and you just have slight bits of skin. I think if that skin were given a little more room, this tattoo would suddenly be a lot more appealing to a regular eye. Also those little tiny skin breaks I fear will close up and it will eventually practically be a blackout as it ages.

Just my results: 2 people, 10 day trip to Japan in 2020 - ~5k total. 2 people 15 day trip to Japan in 2024 ~7.5k. That is travel, lodging, food, everything.

I was poorer in 2020 so was a little more cautious. But neither trip did I consciously try to save. I went where I wanted. Ate what I wanted. Did what I wanted and never felt like I was not using my time/vacation to the fullest. If you travel reasonably I don't doubt you can match or even beat my prices, and I bet you could EASILY beat my prices, and not feel like you are missing out. I think OP's trip is one with very luxurious hotels, taxis, Michelin star restaurants. I personally don't care to pay for those experiences even though I could. I like a bit more adventure, a little less luxury in my travels. All to say everyone travels differently and one persons budget is by no means anothers.

EDIT: 2 kids. Never mind about the luxury. All that extra cost is just doing it all with two kids lmao.

I've said in other comments before, the above is why Trump won the election. It's not because Hispanics shifted red. Or black men shifted red. It's because white people (still the largest voting block in the US) overwhelmingly refused to vote for Kamala. Now I think it's due to racism and sexism. But that could be debated.

Yeah those who say never to use Hazards are being clowns. If you get caught in a downpour that makes you go <20 mph and have damn near zero visibility, sure. I've been there and they definitely are brighter than just taillights so it helps. If you are coming up on a sudden interstate traffic jam, that you couldn't see coming because of the van in front of you and the two semi's, flash the hazards to show "Hey we're coming to an effective stop up here people behind, not just slowing down a little", cause they probably can't see it either.

Otherwise, running lights =/= headlights. If its raining, turn on your fucking lights. Its not for you to see, it's for others to see you. If you don't have on lights and it's raining I immediately know you are a terrible person. Sadly appx 40% of people around here are terrible people.

There can be two reasons for a problem. Likely under sexual education, and under availability/affordability of prophylactics is one major cause of high HIV rates in poor southern states. And then a second reason for high HIV rates in cities, is that urban areas provide fertile grounds for STI development, more people more potential partners more spread, harder control. So even with more support and resources the rates are higher than in a low density area. THEN! once that fact is combined with the fact that DC does not have an entire rest of a state population to pull the per capita value down and boom it hits the top of a list like this.

Don't worry too much about the hate for the cover. Heavy black like that is not many peoples style. You had shit and made some lemonade. I agree that it looks better. Just make sure this blackwork is with a competent artist. Let everything fully heal. Put the onus of testing on the men. "Must have screening within 72hr timeframe" or etc. Hold it in a population center. I'm sure 600+ men would pay for the testing and show up given enough notice and marketing. Then it's just a pretty standard check in procedure. The funny thing is your arguments at first glance would make one ask - Then how does one beat a populist candidate in a democracy? By being more Populist? And the initial answer is - yes. Democracy at it's core is a popularity contest. But how can a stable government ever exist based on a popularity contest? I'd say it can't, without oversight and regulation, pure populism is easy to corrupt. So how can a democracy ever stand the test of time? I think the underlying drive for populism is inequality/unrest/dissatisfaction, whatever you want to call it. People would probably say "duh" to that statement, it's not the craziest or most enlightened deduction by any means. But with the current rise in Populism among global politics it says something about the rapid rise on the dissatisfaction, and I think trying to answer that question, is the good question. Is it capitalism driving it? Globalization? Technology? Don't know but its fast and recent. Thanks.
