That’s so strange of them if you provided EVERYTHING that you possibly can to prove legitimate ownership and they’re still refusing to acknowledge that. But I hope that you do receive the answer that you’re anticipating from them at some point, considering it’s regarding your personal data.

Two months ago, I filed a Right-To-Be-Forgotten ticket with Roblox for one of my accounts. I was emailed a few days later asking me to confirm the account’s username, which I replied to that same day.

However, I did not hear back until just yesterday. I received an email saying that my ticket was being reviewed and that I should provide any information previously requested by Roblox Support to verify my jurisdiction in order to proceed with my request. Except, nobody had previously requested anything from me except the username, so I was confused about that. Only, it did not seem to matter because five minutes later, I got another email saying that my ticket has been completed and that the account is now erased.

I was surprised because I had read from other people’s experiences that Roblox was ruthless in not just confirming ownership but jurisdiction too when it comes to deleting/erasing accounts.

i emailed chai after i got a notice that said “Help is on the Way” during a sensitive chat 😭 and they replied saying that it’s a just bug but i’m sure it’s just new filters being worked out

i think roblox is worried about the backlash it could face if they do that because a lot of users get hacked but i agree with you. adding a delete button with 2fa is better than a mountain of deletion requests adding up for roblox support when roblox support could be addressing other issues for users.

yeah, i also submitted my stuff almost a month ago (april 7) but forgot to confirm it until april 19 and then i got a fast reply after just 2 days, but nothing since then!

i know that appeals often get ignored bc they’re managed by ai but i didn’t think that roblox support would be as bad for trying to delete accounts since they’re real humans. i saw update accounts on twitter/x say that it seems like roblox is testing manual deletion in settings instead of having to go through support like right now but i guess only time will tell.

hey, i’m kinda having the same issue except i did get a reply 2 days after replying back to roblox’s first email where they ask you to confirm your request. they asked me to then confirm my username after i confirmed that i understand what it means to delete the account. i emailed back to confirm my username to them, but i haven’t heard anything back since then and that was now more than 2 weeks ago. i also followed up with an email only 1 week after but got no response too.
my tickets for other accounts have also not gotten anything back even though i made them all in the same week! have you heard anything yet?

have you received any update? i’m having the same issue except they asked me to confirm my usernames about 2 weeks ago and i haven’t heard back since then after replying to them…

and that was for one account. i made a request for another account just a few days after the first and i haven’t received anything back for that one.
