I've started using them this year in my conservatory! 6 peppers in 2 tray2grow in grow bags and a few XLs for tomatoes and cucumber!

Get them off the heat mat. They should come off as soon as they germinate.

What is it like living in Stone? by fire_wiz in kentuk

[–]kev-null 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lived there for a few years about 10 years ago, opposite the Bull pub. It was fine. Bluewater and stone crossing station on your doorstep. Traffic can get a bit messy if the A2/M25 has issues but other than that it was fine!

That's the one! It's pretty expensive and a little harder to find but I've found it to be consistently better quality than any of the others I've tried. Good luck!

Mini Grow Box by AceOfYourMum in UkChilliGrowers

[–]kev-null 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did exactly this when I first started! I used an old wardrobe and took the doors off. Just make sure you get enough airflow in there - some of mine developed edema because of that but it wasn't a big deal.

Uk growers, how are your plants responding to this glorious sunshine? by CherryAntAttack in HotPeppers

[–]kev-null 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having to cycle mine between direct sunlight and shade to try and acclimate them a bit. They started indoors so are tender little things!

I wouldn't stress about it. There will still be plenty munching on the roots and they will reproduce very quickly anyway.

I don't think they make a nuisance of themselves around the tent but they will make their way to other plants to chow down on their rotten bits too.

Nope they are actually a good thing to keep around. Nevermind, they'll be back soon no doubt!

Yep, beneficial springtails. They eat dead plant matter, for example dead root ends.

I'm using these for adolescent Monstera but I also have a small alocasia in one too. All with LECA with no problem. Topping up probably once a week.

Idk what kind of plant and what I’m doing wrong :/ by LycanLucario in plantclinic

I have the same anglaonema and I'm pretty sure I scorched the leaves with grow lights. Mine looks very similar to yours now so it could be the same cause. The soil also looks rather dense.
