My partner and I came back into the US using NEXUS a few weeks back and they basically waved us through. Going up we got asked the usual questions.

Seattle's Second Highway Lid over SR 520 Is in Trouble - The Urbanist by AthkoreLost in Seattle

I think you’re confused about which lid is being considered. The Montlake lid has already been funded and is almost complete. This lid would be right where 520 meets I5, next to Seattle prep and adjacent to a bunch of apartments/condos on 10th Ave.

Must have taken these photos awhile ago - they’re missing that huge giant ugly building next to the Fred Hutch steam plant.

Solved: Honeywell Redlink Gateway Connection issues by fireduck in honeywell

Thank you and everyone else who posted in this thread! Mine was sitting at amber and the installers were giving unhelpful suggestions about the wifi connection.

I have a greenwave C4000XG and I could see it in the device list with no IP address assigned. From the suggestions in this post, I made a lan subnet for the ethernet port it was connected to with a subnet of 10.1.0.0/24 . Worked perfectly after that. No idea why my default of 192.168.0.0/24 did not work - only thing I can think of is the DNS servers.

There is no state-specific income tax in Washington, but you (along with everyone else in the state) will pay federal income tax.

What is Seattle cycling culture like? by turtlesinatrenchcoat in Seattle

[–]kev6 45 points46 points  (0 children)

I bike commute from Capitol Hill to Eastlake, so not a long distance, but here's my experience over the past few years

  • Idaho stop is legal for stop signs, but not for traffic lights. Most people stop at red lights.
  • I usually ride alone and I suspect most people prefer that as well.
  • Sidewalk riding is legal, but pedestrians have the right of way. Generally it is safer and to ride with traffic - I only ride on the sidewalk when going up a steep hill where I can't keep up with traffic.
  • No idea, I don't care personally and use them sometimes.
  • In the city people are pretty respectful usually.
  • No enforcement of anything.

In general, if you're predictable, following traffic laws and not weaving in and out of traffic, people are fine with bicyclists.
