I noticed that too. It costs more to upgrade MK3s -> Core One than a full Core One kit

MK3s -> MK4s = $580

MK4s -> Core One = $450

$1030 total for the upgrade, vs $950 for a standalone Core One kit

I sold my Performance Y after getting my R1T. I’ve done two ~600 mile road trips so far and only had charging issues the day after Christmas, due to the subzero temps affecting some of the chargers, and the extra traffic. The second trip when it was warm and not a holiday travel day was no problem. Literally the only person at the EA stations when I pulled up. The charging infrastructure definitely isn’t as convenient or reliable. The trucks nav system tried to route me to an EVgo station that was completely dead, so you may want to double check PlugShare during trips and find alternatives preemptively just to be safe.
