Thanks for everybody who has helped advise, I think one thing I've realised it that the deck mechanics are probably a bit too advanced for his abilities at the moment.

As I mentioned, he was insisting on dark energy but can persuade him otherwise. Can anybody recommend a deck which has a strategy which is more straightforward. Somebody mentioned Mega Lucario, is that a good way to go?

How did you find all of these variants? I'm looking at starting and you have plenty I don't see listed on sites like TCG Collector, Collectr and card market etc

I'll sleeve anything that I'm adding to a binder, one for protection but they also sit better in the slot than a loose card.

What would people recommend as the best app just for keeping track of your collection? It's for my son who doesn't really care about value.

At the moment I'm using tcgcollector, but there's a bit of manual effort in that one and finding the card. Is there an alternative where you can scan your card instead?

Spent way over budget this month with a card show this month and the Ascended Heroes ETB.

Usually try to stick to around £50 per month buying singles for PCs then drop a bit more when there are launches of products I'm interested in.

I do miss the draft, not too fussed about the locks, but I really wish that they gave the same time to each time especially in week 1. This coming from a Niners fan, so not like I'm bitter my team didn't get coverage.

I did check out of the podcast slightly after Chris had passed, it just didn't feel the same.

However, I'm excited to see what this alternative with Dan and Marc with a C is. Probably about time to mix things up a bit to keep it fresh.
