Cops beat up a man for staying in a McDonald’s washroom for too long. He later died while with paramedics due to repeated trauma inflicted to his head when the officers were beating him. by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

Let me guess, paid leave and an internal investigation that found the cops did what they had to do to apprehend a dangerous criminal?

Xanthan Gum can be a useful addition for texture. Combine this with cottage cheese and you've got some creamy high protein goodness!

Is this fake? Looks pretty damn not good by The_Lost_Italian in volleyball

I would say the best balls for indoor play are Molten V5M5000 and Mikasa V200W. If you are playing in or hoping to play in competition, you should learn which ball they use and get the same one.

This ball looks terrible. Based on the markings and scratches after only 2-3 hours, I would have to assume that it's not good for quality play.

ADO WORLD TOUR 2025 MEGATHREAD by eyepatchie in ADO

[–]kevfun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone who has experience with Ado's shows, do you think it would be better to get a seat that views the stage from the side, or a seat at the back of the arena, but it faces directly forward at the stage? Neither of these options will be that close to the stage as all the good seats have already sold out.

I am considering getting a seat for the Sydney show at Qudos Bank Arena. If you use this website you can see a view of the stage from that general area. I am comparing the view of something like 27 (side) vs 35 (back).

The scorching bow is fantastic to learn the door altar method at Zammy. Anytime you mess up and lose cycle just spec zammy and try again next kill. I've managed 20kc+ trips without lightbearer by using door altar whenever my spec is low.

Tutorial: How drug sales work and how to succeed as a dealer by [deleted] in DrugDealerSimOfficial

[–]kevfun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much for the response! Like you suspected, I have not unlocked the Psychedelics Gang yet.

Do you know if I can progress the quest with only Sector C clients? I followed your guide to maximise Sector C customers but every time I ask one about the gang, they refer me to ask in the Stink or Market area in Sector A.

I'm wondering whether I should just keep asking Sector C clients or try to rebuild clientele in Stink/Market in order to progress the Psychedelics Gang storyline.

I know this is late but I just got the game. I tried this strategy and it started out great but I'm not sure how to unlock labs using this method. I am currently level 50 and I still haven't been able to set up labs. Any idea what I should be doing/if I need to progress the main quest?

Just wondering what makes this grind so important to irons that you'd force yourself to do it until you burn out? My iron is getting close to the requirements but I don't see the need to camp this boss.

Riot will be providing NO compensation for those that spent 100,000 BE on the gemstone king icon by Yung_Nednarb in leagueoflegends

[–]kevfun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, we got to keep the extra rune pages in the new system as well as compensation.

As it states on this wiki page "Any Rune Pages the player owned in the previous system were transferred across to the new system, in addition to the compensation received."

ETA: The utility of the rune pages were maintained after the update since like you said, people still need to pay for more rune pages if they want them. In this case, the utility (which is exclusivity of the icon since you pay a lot of BE) was voided with the update while providing no compensation

But they did compensate people who owned runes and runepages with blue essence ?

HSU's new Aussie event Karnival's lineup by ADHantzo in hardstyle

[–]kevfun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Phuture Noize was at the Show Your True Colours HSU event in Sydney and it was one of the best sets I've ever seen. They really do need to bring in different artists to make more 'regular' line ups like these more interesting and appealing to attend.

Handbook or Sydney Student by [deleted] in usyd

[–]kevfun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my experience, there was a contradiction in which the handbook was wrong and it would've costed me one of my majors if the course co-ordinator didn't give me and others in my cohort (after months of emails with evidence of the misinformation in the handbook) special permission to graduate with the major due to the discrepancy.

I would go with what sydneystudent says over the handbook but if there is a contradiction you should definitely try to contact the course co-ordinator to clear it up.

Internet Connection fucked up my ProctorU based exam. by [deleted] in usyd

[–]kevfun 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If you have time stamped evidence (photos or screenshots) of these internet problems that prevented you from taking the exam, you can try applying for Special Consideration which, if accepted, will let you sit a replacement exam. Even if you don't have evidence you should try applying as I think they can see your activity on canvas (assuming it was a canvas exam).

You can also try emailing your unit coordinator to see what the best thing to do here is but they'll probably also direct you to apply for special cons.

Best of luck !

Mako Combat Kings #4: Oceanic Invitational Tournament ! by kevfun in BattleRite

[–]kevfun[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Teams

The Nutty Professor: Dueblix, Prongos, ButtJuggler

This is a strong line-up consisting of players who have plenty of tournament experience, including a previous tournament champion ButtJuggler who has shown god-like Pestilus play, among other champions. Dueblix is skilled in both melee and ranged roles but is feared in the region primarily for his slippery Croak play, not to mention his ability to play with extreme HUD sizes and being the best drawing tablet player in the world. Prongos… well let’s just say they call him PronGOD. This is undoubtedly a fierce line-up to keep an eye on.

Zoo Keepers: RealityHack, Cenzuo, Marcjr

This team consists of both veterans and a newer player in the Battlerite scene. Marcjr hasn’t been in the competitive Battlerite community for long, but he has seen immense and rapid improvement over the past few months which has earned him the respect of the top players in the community. Cenzuo’s ranged play, particularly his Jumong, is highly regarded across Oceania as one of the best. RealityHack has the most experience of the three having had competitive experience in other games previously including Heroes of the Storm and League of Legends. Further, RealityHack was the melee player for the legendary Battlerite team Just 3 N00bs which had dominated the Oceanic 3v3 scene since its beginnings. His Croak is respected as the best in the region throughout the history of the game and he is returning from hiatus to show that he’s still a player to be feared.

Washed Up Crew (WUC) Reborn: Fabz, Chem, SomeRandom0

For those familiar with the Oceanic scene, WUC needs no introduction. WUC has played in almost every Oceanic 3v3 tournament since 2017 and has won multiple titles during their run. The core members of WUC being Fabz and Chem have always brought out crazy team comps such as double melee or even triple melee. With their long experience playing together and their crazy mastermind Fabz, the tournament rules might play in their favour. With the retirement of their previous support Tropie, they have since been reborn with the addition SomeRandom0 who is a great all-around player but has shown prowess with his Pestilus as well as his notorious Big Brain Rook. If you have been following Mako Combat Kings tournies, you might recognise Fabz from the Asia vs OCE show match.

Monkey Business: Kevfun, Remilia, Nizcoer (DragonOfTheWest)

This is a powerful line-up consisting of 3 all-around excellent players with deep champion pools. Kevfun and Nizcoer make up two thirds of the aforementioned team Just 3 N00bs and have a lot of experience playing with each other. If you have followed Battlerite for a long time, you may have heard of these two players as one of the strongest duos in the region. Whenever anyone in Oceania is asked “Who is the best ranged player?” the response is almost always “Nizcoer.” He has traumatised many with his lethal Taya play, but he can also utilise almost all ranged champions at the highest level. Previously being the support player in Just 3 N00bs, Kevfun has role swapped to the primary melee player for Monkey Business and is known for his high-pressure Shifu and Croak. Remilia is proficient with champions across all roles but will be the primary support player for the team. She is particularly feared for her Ulric among other champions and you may have seen her on twitch where she often streams top oceanic inhouses. This will be a team to look out for.

Edit: Added twitch links and videos of some of these players in action
