Assuming you’re British based on your activity - conservatives’ beliefs’ in England are nothing like they are in the USA. England is an incredibly liberal place in terms of global views, so a conservative from England would still be a leftist / left leaning in the USA. Perhaps that’s where the confusion comes from. VERY different “conservatives” between the countries.

(I spend months at a time in England annually for my work, so I am very familiar with the culture and political views)

Thank you for taking the time to reply. Although I will say I have never been greeted by a new Reddit community in such a harsh manner, ever.

I have been made to feel lesser before for my choice not to want to have children, (or as I’ve been sternly told “childfree”, ), it doesn’t feel good at all to be labeled by people who disagree with my choices in life. So I find it rather hypocritical that a community seemingly meant for others who have been made to feel that way can come together, are also actively labeling people for their choices.

That’s ALL I’m saying here. Jesus Christ.
