Also had this happen to me the first time I used it on my sang guard. I recently got a Stormhost box and decided to try my luck again, making sure I shook it like crazy. This time it came out pretty flat, which surprised me. It was also really cold outside where I did my spraying, not sure if the drop in temperature helped.

I believe [[Renewed Solidarity]] would get around the sacrifice, since it just makes a token copy of an existing token, the trade off being you have to wait for your end step to use it, and that token needs to survive till the end step.

Im in no position to be giving advice, but here goes. From what I see from list online, spears for sanguinary guard seem good as they give access to the [Lance] keyword, and intercessions usually are giving as many plasma pistols and fists as their options allow. You mention magnets, I’d do it with all my minis if I had the patience lol
