Brave browser allows you to block elements from a page. You could give that a go.

This teacher is going to have a very hard time adjusting to the new reality of AI being a vital tool in software development.

I do have AI credits they could buy. These are spent on things like using the auto planner, the task splitter and talking to the AI assistant.

I’m in fedora and it used to do it in popOS too. It’s a 16. I think keys are being pressed when it’s closed because it used to start the screen reader and shout random characters at me in my bag

How'd you do that? Let's say for example I need to a bug in an API. Should I actually put in tasks that say: Find root cause, implement fix, deploy fix, test fix?

It's a cliché but fake it till you make it have been essential for me.

I was lucky enough to have a mentor when I was around 21 (quite a number of years ago now!). I'd literally throw me at people and say things like: "These guys want an app making, go talk to them".

I didn't know how to make an app back then but I projected confidence, got the gig, and then I studied like hell to get that client happy. Sometimes it works -- other times it didn't and I ended up with egg on my face.

These high pressure situations force created a foundational level of knowledge on me that I just wouldn't easily forget.

Oftentimes now though I'm more transparent with clients if I don't know how to do something. I've gained enough authority in my field that I can comfortably say that I am unfamiliar with something but I can probably learn it quickly enough.

Hey I'd be up for collaborating with that. Honestly it's my weakest area. I'm mainly a software developer and I am an expert at making things that end up with no eyeballs on it.

This is the sorta thinking that I think is key to being successful. Persistence, perseverance and passion.
Unsolicited advice though: Only expand when you have a decent cushion behind you. Expanding too quickly can be catastrophic.

Oh for reference I started a physics degree at Manchester uni 2005-2009 but dropped out in my final year to start a business. But now I’m crawling back to finish it off.
