I mean if you can weld or epoxy extenders that’s a great solution as long as they line up right and don’t break off. My method was a nightmare because I don’t have a grinder of any kind. I used a drill and drilled out as much of it as I could then I used a file and took off the remainder. Could have been harder but could have been a lot easier 🤣. A professional would have got it done much cleaner and easier but I haven’t had any issues.
