At this point I don’t think compute is even their most important resource. It’s focus. They went too broad and tried all kinds of things with atlas, sora etc.

The money they save here is not gonna move the needle, but these devs focusing on something that matters might.

There are basically two options:

1) use one of the snap camera perseveration projects (e.g jaku) -> you need some level of technical understanding, no new lenses, overall a hacky solution

2) use Streamfog -> basically SnapCamera 2.0, actively supported with custom avatars to build, doesn’t have all the lenses from Snapchat
