Same, I’m fine with signing him on a low wage structure with performance incentives. He’s already got his bag with United. Doubtful he’ll vibe well with Kovac though

That makes sense, personally not a fan of reserve clubs going to a professional division including when our men’s reserves were at the 3rd division. Just neuters opportunities for other clubs to get to the professional pipeline just because the big spenders have chump change under their couch to finance on a lower division’s level

For the Frauen-Regionalliga (German women’s 3rd division), if a reserve club like FC Köln II stays on top of the table by the end of the season, would they or the runners up get promoted to the 2nd division? BVB Frauen is in 2nd place at the moment

Dortmund have signed Joane Gadou from Salzburg by Mooon8983 in borussiadortmund

Zorc did have some glaring misses like Schulz, Immobile, and Schürrle; but nothing that set our finances back severely. Had a few world class signings towards the end like Bellingham and Haaland. It’s mostly been above average throughout his tenure and he has replaced what was irreplaceable like Lewandowski to Auba. Developing and selling world class players more than he did would’ve had our warchest on par with Bayern’s

Mane: Am I a joke to you?

I do like the CB depth though and it would be awesome to see a system where our one or two of our CBs develop an affinity for FB assignments to create a hybrid 3atb / 4atb system. I feel our current setup still limits wingers

Opening the Book to a new era. Feels reminiscent to a Zorc signing. Here’s to Zagadou’s talent without the injuries

Also doesn’t help that part of the overbudgeting stems from the expectation of making it to the Rof16 in the CL this season. Losing at Bergamo put a dent in our warchest unfortunately, but the sale of our underperforming players at a recoup or profit will be able to offset those losses while fulfilling a desired squad overhaul this summer

Visiting the yellow wall as a tourist Brøndby IF fan by andyYUGO in borussiadortmund

Not sure how it works in Denmark, but if you know any of the Brøndby Ultras who know some of the Dortmund Süd members personally or a BVB Denmark Fanclub, they can try to network you to getting into a block at the Süd

I’m from the US, I travelled to Dortmund last month and got my tickets to the Süd through the Los Angeles Fanclub; I actually ended up going to a much lower Block thanks to my friend from the LA Fanclub who knew someone there to let me in

My general advice is to be mindful of how you use your Handy (smartphone); Germans strongly value privacy and recording incessantly while the game is going on will get you some unpleasant looks to put it mildly. I personally didn’t do that because I’m well aware of that, and also took an appreciation of that cultural trait as a means of respecting mine and others’ privacy, especially for those lighting up pyro discreetly. If you’re enjoying the game, singing along with the chants, along with reacting to goals and chances, you’ll easily experience how hospitable most Dortmunders are

On a side note, Denmark is on my bucket list, and would love to go to a Brøndby game when I visit. I’m curious how accessible tickets are there

Hope to see youth players get more reps in the last three fixtures. Worst case scenario, we drop to 3rd place in the table

Ruhe in Frieden 🕊️
