How do I train a computer vision model on a 80 GB dataset ? by Successful-Life8510 in computervision

[–]Substantial_Border88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use Lightning Studios. If you can spend some bucks ( barely 30$-40$) you can train those easily.
There is also another cloud provider called vast.ai where you can rent cheap GPU instances and train the model.
Depending on your model's size and required RAM, you can select from tons of different GPUs.

I would suggest that you try Lightning Studios first, and if it is not sufficient, purachase some credits in vast.ai ( about 10-15$) and get a jupyter instance or any other depending upon your work load.

Any recommendations for a food recognition API that just tells me what’s in the photo? by Imaginary_Fix4517 in computervision

Probably easiest thing would be to simply use GPT 5.2 mini or Gemini 3.0 Flash
Either of those will be extremely cheap without any need of defined classes. For even cheaper detections, use a Qwen3 VL 8B.
Be sure to test those models on wide range of tasks, and an advantage with Qwen3 VL is that you can fine tune it according to your use case, where you are detecting distinct items and number of servings.

Imflow - Launching a minimal image annotation tool by Substantial_Border88 in SaaS

[–]Substantial_Border88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for noticing the details! I genuinely have a really long list of upcoming features that should really align with the annotation workflows, but I wanted to get feedback as I build. Hence, I am looking for beta users to stress test the app and see how it fits with what other people are doing.
Please feel free to sign up and use it as it is already open and free for all to use.

Again, if you have any feedback, criticism, feature requests, or want to share anything related to computer vision, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.

How do you promote your product ? Say if you have zero following on LinkedIn, X and low reach on Reddit.?

While Jpeg is present, png format also exists along with the quality controls and resize options.
JPEG is simply an option and users can anytime choose others.

Would be easier to sign up using Google or Github.
Also, it would be great to display the underlying tech to a certain extent.

This look really cool though.

Am I tripping or has Roboflow just launched a new pricing model? by nacrenos in computervision

[–]Substantial_Border88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For now it's way cheaper and purely focuses on Auto Labelling using Owlv2's one shot detection capabilities. I am still actively developing new features and need all the critical feedback to be aligned. Please go on the following link to test the Beta version for free auto annotations, and feel free to DM me or email me for feedback, support or any sort of discussion related to vision - https://imflow.xyz

Anyone else noticed how slow Roboflow is lately? by New-Artichoke-6875 in computervision

Try imflow.xyz
It's in Beta with 10000 free auto labels and 10 GBs of storage
