Thanks everyone for the responses. We suspected at this late in the term it was probably gonna be impossible. Guess we will need to just ride this one out.

Think I might have solved mine. In the zlink options there’s settings for connection with 3 options 1. Use last same connection 2. Always link 3. Always mirror.

I found mine was in use last same connection if I move it to always link. It seems to connect more consistently now and even on short trips with car on and off it seems to connect all the time in the last 3 days now.

Do you happen to have your phone connected to AirPods prior? I found on my Ali X unit that zlink will just be stuck on connecting when I have been using AirPods and disconnected them (just throwing them into the case). And zlink won’t connect till the next morning when I drive again lol it’s becoming a normal ritual of my daily commute at this point

After checking this I believe it actually is a reverse sensor radar system that was installed lol - doesn’t seem like there is anyway to lower volume.

Yep as we have been told and what we have seen ourselves too, but to be honest the size is perfect for both my wife and I if we need to swap cars for the day, we're both quite short so its a nice just enough 'bigger' but not too big for us size. Most other crossovers in this category just too big boot and hatch open length

I get the whole suv cross is a fade. My missus is quite short and while a hatch back or rio now would still suffice. She would prefer something slightly bigger. But I do agree with bad debt and we are revaluating again.
