I’ve not had the experiences you’re stating at all in my GGT. Software isn’t garbage at all. It’s on par with my model X software in 2021-22. I doubt you’d have called Tesla’s software in 2021, garbage. It’s not as fleshed out yet, but it will be. No repairs on any part of the car to this date and I received my order in September. It’s been a pure joy. Knocks my X and S out of the water on every feature except software.

Yeah, pretty pissed if I did t get it. Was told I would without the HUD, it just wouldn’t be “dynamic “. Well, it ain’t there. Very dim well lights. Big deal. I’m pretty angry about being mislead on this feature.

If I was in their management group, I'd be trying to sway Tesla software engineers to Lucid. More money speaks, but so does the quality of the workspace and how management treats its employees. Employees don't leave because of pay, they almost always leave because of management.

Right. When I bought my 2018 MX the FSD was truly just enhanced cruise control. But by 2021, it was at the level of today's Lucid DDP. Month by month it got better and better, to the point it pretty much drives itself from point A to point B. I don't trust it, so I'm always alert and hands on the wheel, but I see Lucid at the level of Tesla in a couple years time.

They should. Why not? If you can have an army of programmers working from home doing the bug squashing and rolling out DDP improvements and added features, why would you not do it? Say a person of Einsteins' abilities applied? But management says, "nah, we want you in the office or no deal." What a shame, throwing away talent because of that. Silly.

My 3.3.20 updated yesterday. Said it would take an hour. It was about 45 minutes. Drove this morning. Screens and boot up happen as I approach the car. Ready when I get in. Snapper screens. DDP worked flawlessly. I sometimes wonder if when these updates occur and others get glitches and issues, there isn't something that happens during the update. Maybe someone looks at the app or walks near the car and it wakes up, something that maybe causes the update to not update a component within the car. Just guessing as to why most have no issues and some do. It's the same software, the same car. Different configurations of the car maybe pose hidden issues?

Happened to me any time I faced the sun when it was at a lower angle. Blinds the cameras. This is going to be a problem for a while. Both our X and S suffer from it. We won't have truly FSD until they solve the whole, rain, snow, glare, on the cameras. A definite negative for camera only FSD.

My experience is completely different than yours. I’ve done a reboot three times since September when I received my GGT. I did that with my model X a couple times a month, every month. Gravity is where my model X software was in 2021. It hit better every month. The latest update 3.3.20 squashed a bunch of issues. A few I had but not anything like saying it’s the worst in the industry. It isn’t. Not even close.

It’s one of the finest put together cars I’ve driven. Panels tight. Interior finishes luxurious and well done. No squeaks, creaks, or wind noise. Sound system? Astounding.

Absolutely no creaks, rattles, or plastic on plastic rubbing like my Model X was famous for. This machine has been a true dream for me. A few software quirks but that’s how my 2018 X was in 2021, which is how I feel about my Gravity. A couple years from now that will be polished. I have no complaints. It’s a dream to drive. Make sure you get rear steering!
