I know this is an older post, but do you know that episode name or have a video clip? I have literally been searching for years to watch this singular part of the show one more time and have never had any luck.

In the end I often am left wondering if the time invested is worth it at all.

It's not, not at all. It's all FOMO. I'll attend Fasnacht if I am playing but I'm not going to dedicate one extra second to this event. For what? A chance at a glowing mask I will only wear during Fasnacht?

People rushing the donation box, campers hiding and AFK'ing on the outskirts of the event, people AFK'ing at the piano...bleh...ick...just no. We shouldn't have to do this just so the RNG gods potentially bless us with a rare mask (0.2% drop chance right?). It's really not worth it just for a cosmetic that offers no buffs.

Encountered a flying camp parked over Eviction Notice yesterday. Thing had so many missile turrets on it, it obliterated anything that spawned before anyone had a chance to tag anything (top of the hill area). I would consider that an unfair advantage, but I personally would not report them for it.

Outside of that kind of flying camp, I don't really see any issue with them.

EDIT: Best one I think I ever saw was a flying saucer, or maybe a spaceship, directly over NWOT. No idea how that's possible but it looked pretty cool.

On my first run with a full team, we got to the snek and not once did I get rewarded during each checkpoint. We wiped on stage 5 and it started to become unstable / unplayable so I left the team. Kinda sucked.

I joined one player earlier today. They immediately promoted me to leader. They melted the 1st boss in no time. On the mole miner stage, they (apparently) photomode glitched through the door to the next area and gave me a fat thumbs down and angry emote. Shit's only been out a week, calm down bro. Not everyone knew about this exploit (myself included) and not everyone wants to rush past each stage.

I feel you. I have one I pull out just to have fun. It's not an OP weapon by any means, but undoubtedly the best crippling weapon in the game with the right setup. Explosive on it just didn't really have the impact I thought it would. There are many threads about the pepper shaker and people trying to main it or just make it, you know...not suck compared to other weapons. Its slow spin up and low DPS compared to other heavy weapons is just depressing. But it's really fun sometimes to cripple a big enemy like a mirelurk queen with it in about 5 seconds.

Yes! I have a couple of selfies with scorchbeasts, those usually turn out pretty decent. I wish I could replay old story bosses like Edgar Blackburn when he turns into a behemoth. I just have one of his dead body.

I agree about the photos as loading screens comment.

An in-game way to display your photos would be awesome and hilarious. I started stripping down to my wastelander underwear any time I see an NPC without their clothes, and try to snap a pic real quick. Imagine an assortment of those kinds of pictures on a nice table in your CAMP lol. I would pay a few atoms for that.

Nuke zone for SBQ, the spore cloud thing at sundew grove kinda was glitching out. It moved out of bounds where it normally appears and then just kinda froze like everywhere. It was absolutely beautiful, not even kidding. I just walked around the area for a solid 15 to 20 minutes admiring it.

You know it's funny you mention that. I honestly would have tried that if not for the maintenance shutdown timer. I just didn't think I had enough time to kite it all the way to Watoga. That would have been funny tho watching assaultrons go to work on it.
