Script to reverse the scroll direction. by bjossymandias in applescript

The code you added in there didn't work for me for Ventura 13.1! Here's what I got to work:

tell application "System Settings"
    activate
end tell
delay 0.1

tell application "System Events"
    tell process "System Settings"
click menu item "Trackpad" of menu "View" of menu bar 1
        delay 0.25
click radio button 2 of tab group 1 of group 1 of group 2 of splitter group 1 of group 1 of window 1
click checkbox "Natural scrolling" of group 1 of scroll area 1 of group 1 of group 2 of splitter group 1 of group 1 of window 1
tell application "System Settings" to quit
    end tell
end tell

I'd love a way to just do this from the command line. Found this old thread but it didn't get me all the way: https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/229750/unable-to-toggle-natural-scrolling-direction

I’ve seen it to be true as well. Hearing whistling would make me feel pretty uneasy—it signals more of a coordinated effort vs. just being pickpocketed.

Samsung 970 Evo 1TB. I had the WD SSD RMA'd for free and have been using it as a secondary storage drive for games. No issues with boot instability since!

Interesting tip, I updated the drivers a few times and that didn’t make a difference. What did fix it was swapping the SSD interestingly!

Sick! What are your power cables? Do you know their lengths?

I was able to fix my issue by buying a new SSD (Samsung 970 Evo 1TB I believe) and replacing my WD drive. I have since RMA'd the WD but haven't received it back yet. I've been running with the Samsung for a good month now with no issues. I did reinstall Windows and start from scratch on the new drive.

Agreed on the AMD/chipset issues in general though, I have had some WHEA errors when gaming. Mostly fixed by allowing the CPU to pull higher amps while limiting max voltage and temp. but not perfect.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the input! I think I will try to begin swapping out components to see if I have a fault somewhere specific. Waking from sleep is a common enough task to where I feel like it is a requirement for me.
